Cold As Ice

Another wedding is being planned at the privately owned Diamond of
the Caribbean resort. Owners Mac and Ike MacKenzie are helping to
plan the ceremony for their new shuttle pilot, Al Johnson, and Mac’s
executive assistant, Stephanie Jamieson, former assistant and fiancée to
Mac’s brother Phil who was murdered. Phil’s murder and other recent
occurrences at the resort have everyone hoping things will finally settle
down for good.

Stephanie invites her lifelong best friend, Chloe Becker, to come be her
witness at the wedding ceremony. Steph and Chloe have not seen each
other in nearly ten years, and Chloe decides it’s time they get together
again, and what better reason than her best friend’s marriage. Then
Chloe learns by an unusual circumstance that her recent minor health
issues are due to the fact she is being poisoned, and soon discovers she’s
being poisoned deliberately by someone she may know.

Chloe met security guard Hank Thomas upon her arrival at the resort
and immediately felt a strong connection with him, and apparently, he
did as well. They admit to each other the strong attraction they share, but
Hank is reluctant to act on it because he perceives Chloe as vulnerable
due to her traumatic childhood. Chloe needs to make Hank realize he’s
the one man she knows she can trust.

When Ike and Steph come up with a plan to lure whoever might be
poisoning Chloe to the resort, Hank realizes his protective instincts
might lead him to go after whoever is trying to kill the woman he
loves…
