Gold Dust Woman

Paul MacKenzie and Isabelle Petersen, known as Mac and Ike, married
at Diamond of the Caribbean, Mac’s privately owned island resort as
soon as they discovered why Mac’s brother Phillip was murdered and
who was behind it. Finally, things can get back to normal… or so they
thought. The night after they exchanged vows and held a small
ceremony to spread Phil’s ashes on the island, Stephanie Jamieson,
Phil’s fiancée at the time of his death, is attacked and the next morning,
the resort’s shuttle plane and pilot vanish without a trace…
Coincidence? Ike and Mac don’t think so, but what could possibly be
behind these occurrences?

Stephanie struggles with the reality that Phil was murdered, and she
needs to let him go. Mac’s friend from their shared time in the military,
Al Johnson, was pining for Steph because of one night they shared years
before she was engaged to Phil. Having determined the shuttle plane and
pilot might never be found, Mac offers the pilot position to Al and a
replacement plane is procured. Al eagerly accepts even though Steph
tells him friendship is all she has to offer. But the mounting fear she
starts to experience when Ike finds evidence indicating someone may
have intended to murder her the night of the attack because of what she
thought she saw before being knocked unconscious, she starts to see Al
in a different light. Will he be content to be her lover and protector… or
will he want more?

When a younger employee of the resort comes forward with information
on what was behind Steph’s attack and the disappearance of the former
pilot and plane, Mac enlists help to eliminate this new threat even
knowing they could all be in danger…
